The Gohil lab receives R01 grant from the NIH to study mechanisms of elescomol-mediated copper delivery to enzymes in cells. We thank NIGMS/NIH for continuously supporting our research for the past 8 years. The Gohil lab receives funding from the Texas A&M University's X-grant program to study mitochondrial function in health and disease. Eddy Pineda, an undergraduate student from Emory University, joins the lab for the summer as part of the Biochemistry and Biophysics REU program. Katelyn Plank joins the lab as a Beckman Fellow undergraduate researcher. Sagnika Ghosh successfully defends her PhD Dissertation thesis. Congratulations Sagnika! Donna Iadarola graduates with PhD and accepts a postdoctoral position at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), University of Pennsylvania in Prof. Marni Falk's Lab.
