​Zulkifli wins the First Prize for the poster presentation at the 3rd Annual Research Symposium, Institute of Pharmacology and Neurotherapeutics, Texas A&M Health.


Our manuscript describing the impact of phosphatidylserine on mitochondrial bioenergetics and lipid metabolism is accepted for publication in the Molecular Biology of the Cell (PMID: 40802260).

Abhinav presents his research at the Gordon Research Conference on Cell Biology of Metals.


The first report on the therapeutic use of elesclomol-copper on Menkes children is now published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation (
PMID: 40728898). It is very gratifying to see this after ~ 10 years and 5 publications worth of research work from our lab. We are very thankful to our clinical collaborators from Spain and of course, the children and their parents who are part of this study. We hope that results from this study will motivate clinical trial and treatment of patients with Menkes and other copper deficiency disorders.
